M&R Introduces Flocker 2000™
Glen Ellyn, IL, USA—M&R’s Flocker 2000 makes it easy to add tightly-registered multi-color flocking capability to most M&R automatic textile presses.
The standalone unit has a 38 x 43 cm (15” x 17”) flock opening and accommodates frames (W x L) 66 to 69 cm x 79 to 91 cm (26” to 27” x 31” to 36”). Flocker 2000 is activated by the print carriage, and it’s compatible with M&R’s print start/print finish feature, M&R’s patented Optical No-Shirt Detector, and M&R’s Skip-Shirt foot pedal.
Locking casters, adjustable height, and a single patch-cord electrical connection make Flocker 2000 easy to move around and set up. Its low-profile flocking box allows for easy loading and cleaning, and it’s compatible with the clearances available on most automatic textile presses. Flocker 2000 components can be purchased separately or as a complete turnkey system, with everything necessary to begin flocking.
The Flocker 2000 package includes a 66 x 79 cm (26” x 31”) 61t stainless steel mesh screen/frame, flocker activation switch, manual foot pedal, 10 screen magnets, ten 1.3 mm (.05”) off-contact spacers a 61 x 61 cm (24” x 24”) magnetic sheet,, and a T-Shirt cleaning unit for cleaning excess flock from cured garments. Other components include M&R’s Side Frame Holder Assembly with micro-registration and a 183 cm (6’) ground cable. The assembly supports a 66 x 79 cm (26” x 31”) screen frame below the flocking tray to enable multi-color and/or tightly registered flock application. Unlike some competing flockers, Flocker 2000 does not require printhead removal.
