Index Separations for Screen Printing
Presented by Thomas Trimingham
Friday, January 17, 2020 • 10:45 AM – 12:00 PM in room 102B
Thomas Trimingham from M&R will be showing his process for creating index separations quickly in Adobe Photoshop. Attendees will walk away with a clear plan on how to use Photoshop to separate images for screen printing using index dots. Index dot separations are different from traditional halftones because the dots are square and all the same size—so for many images, a higher detail and printed success rate is achieved. The refined steps shown in this seminar have been used to successfully separate high-end illustrations for branded apparel worldwide.
This seminar will show you how to prepare artwork, select colors, create an underbase, and how to build a digital proof. You'll learn:
|•||To understand index dots|
|•||How to separate|
|•||What art is good for index dots|
Session attendance requires show registration—visit the link for more information about the course and how to register.
