Screen Exposure Systems

M&R’s wide variety of exposure units for screen printing includes NuArc screen exposure and imaging systems for textile screen printing and screen exposure units for graphic screen printing.

6K and 3K Metal-Halide Screen Printing Lamps

6K™ and 3K™ Metal-Halide Screen Printing Lamps

NuArc’s 6K™ & 3K™ multi-spectrum metal-halide screen printing lamps provide instant-start, shutterless operation for all freestanding and wall-mounted vacuum frames. The 6K & 3K screen printing lamps provide uniform coverage on direct, capillary, and indirect emulsions. Each model features a precise controller/integrator with photo detector, pushbutton controls, and LED readout. The shutter-free operation of screen printing lamps eliminates warm-up time and the need for mechanical screen exposure components. Height-adjustable floor stands and heavy-duty casters are standard.
D-SCAN Scanning UV LED Screen Exposure System

D-SCAN™ Scanning UV LED Screen Exposure System

D-Scan™ is NuArc’s revolutionary scanning UV LED screen exposure system for images generated by computer-to-screen (CTS) systems (US Patent Pending. European Patent Application No. 14721111.4). Users simply snap a CTS-generated screen frame into D-Scan’s vertical screen mounting system, select the appropriate settings, and press start to expose the emulsion by sending M&R’s ExpoScan™ high-output UV LED light source scanning across the screen. M&R’s UV LEDs run cooler, save energy costs, reduce screen exposure time, and speed up production.
First Light UV Fluorescent Screen Exposure System

FIRST LIGHT™ UV Fluorescent Screen Exposure System

Versatile, affordable, and accurate, the First Light™ tabletop UV screen exposure system is perfect for startup manual screen printing shops and ideal for small screen printers looking to upgrade from home-made screen exposure units. First Light’s LED timer with digital readout ensures accurate screen exposure times, and the Light-Loc™ feature automatically turns off the screen exposure light source if the blanket frame is opened, allowing First Light to be located in light-safe screen-coating rooms.
Helios Large Format Screen Exposure System: Blanket frame in open position with a screen ready to be exposed

HELIOS™ Large Format Screen Exposure System

With the ability of Job Recall™ to repeatedly perform entire screen exposure sequences at the touch of a single button—and screen frame sizes up to 239 x 457 cm (94” x 180”)—Helios™ is the ultimate large-format screen exposure system. Powerful instant-start 6 kW multi-spectrum metal-halide screen exposure lamps (dual screen exposure lamps on larger models) speed production while retaining fine lines and dots. Light-Loc™ automatically shuts off screen exposure lamps if the door is opened, and the unit’s self-contained design allows Helios to be located in light-safe screen-coating rooms.
Mega-Light UV Fluorescent Screen Exposure System

MEGA-LIGHT™ UV Fluorescent Screen Exposure System

Available as a tabletop model or stand-mounted, the Mega-Light™ UV fluorescent screen exposure system is perfect for startup manual screen printing shops and ideal for small screen printers looking to upgrade from home-made screen exposure units. The LED timer with digital readout ensures accurate screen exposures and fast exposure times. UV fluorescent screen exposure lamps excel on all emulsions, and the Light-Loc™ feature automatically turns off the screen exposure light source if the blanket frame is opened, allowing Mega-Light to be located in light-safe screen-coating rooms.
MSP 3140 CTS Computer-to-Screen Exposure System

MSP 3140 CTS™ Computer-to-Screen Exposure System

MSP 3140 CTS™ produces exceptional results on conventional screens, but it also exposes screens that have been generated by CTS computer-to-screen imaging systems, making it the logical choice for those using both screen types—and for conventional screen printers planning for the future. It’s also simple to operate. The entire screen exposure process—from vacuum drawdown (on conventional screens) through screen exposure and vacuum release—is accomplished with a single keystroke. NuArc’s Light integrator ensures precise screen exposure times, and Job Recall™ allows storage and recall of numerous vacuum and screen exposure values.
MSP 3140 Metal-Halide UV Screen Exposure System

MSP 3140™ Metal-Halide UV Screen Exposure System

MSP 3140™ features NuArc’s instant-start multi-spectrum metal-halide screen exposure technology, which reduces glass temperature, power consumption, and environmental heating effects. With a 79 x 102 cm (31" x 40") maximum screen frame size, it’s an ideal choice for those entering automatic printing and for quality-conscious screen printers in manual environments. MSP 3140 is designed for those seeking superior performance at an affordable price.

STARLIGHT UV LED Screen Exposure System - UV LEDs for Exposure

STARLIGHT™ UV LED Screen Exposure System

Starlight™ is NuArc’s versatile and affordable tabletop or stand-mounted UV LED screen exposure unit. It’s ideal for conventional exposures, and an optional CTS retrofit kit turns Starlight into a computer-to-screen (CTS) UV LED screen exposure system. Starlight's UV LEDs save energy costs, reduce screen exposure time, speed up production, and operate at far lower temperatures than metal-halide lamps. And, unlike expensive metal-halide bulbs that require replacement every year or two, Starlight's UV LED light source can last for decades.
TRI-LIGHT CTS Computer-to-Screen Exposure System

TRI-LIGHT CTS™ Computer-to-Screen Exposure System

The Tri-Light CTS™ dual-purpose screen exposure system produces exceptional results on conventional screens, but it also exposes screens that have been generated by CTS computer-to-screen imaging systems, making it the logical choice for those using both screen types—and for conventional screen printers planning for the future. Tri-Light CTS is also simple to operate.
