Position Summary:

The Junior Software Engineer will assist the R&D team with the support and development of software technologies that control our digital printing equipment. This role will involve working with a lead developer to implement and test program updates, manage version releases, and assist with integration to customer systems. The ideal candidate will be trained on operation of our printing equipment to gain a better understanding of how to improve the current software platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Tests software updates and provides a report of the findings
  • Assists lead developer in troubleshooting and light coding
  • Assists customers with integration / communication between their system and our equipment
  • Provides support for additional development projects as needed
  • Interfaces with the Service Department to provide specialized input
  • Travels to customer sites to evaluate performance of the equipment in the field

Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years work experience preferred
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science preferred

CNC Turret Operator & Setter

Position Summary:

The CNC Turret Operator & Setter performs duties to set up and operate Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) Turret presses to produce a variety of parts in accordance with required specifications and work quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Work from setup sheets, prints, program tapes, routers, turret station board and instructions
  • Plan new setups, call up proper program, check setup sheet with turret station board to determine tool placement needs to perform operations such as punching, embossing, notching, forming and shearing
  • Load tools in tool holders and index as indicated in the tool sheet
  • Input program and set material holders in proper position on table
  • Run sample part and check dimensions and operations performed against print and adjust tool positions or replace tools as necessary
  • Operate machine, load and unload parts following machine cycle, check work for required operations and specifications, and place finished parts on skid
  • Monitor machine for proper operation, add oil to the reservoir and replace tools as necessary
  • Prepare job tickets, scrap and daily production records
  • Notify Group Leader of unusual machine or material problems
  • Stack and move material as required
Qualifications:
  • Experience operating CNC machines
  • Experience operating a Turret Punch Press a plus

Position Summary:

Press Brake Operators produce parts from metals and plastics using Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) equipment that will make precision bends according to blueprints. Operators will make set-ups, adjustments to speeds, material thickness, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed. They will make sure that the CNC machine is operating well at full capacity, is well-maintained and producing quality products, making periodic checks on formed parts, and ensures the product is ready for the next operation.

Skilled Press Brake Operator Requirements:
  • Experience operating CNC machines
  • Experience operating Press Brakes a plus
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading highly desired
  • Performs inspections using calipers, protractors and measuring angles

Responsibilities:
  • Fabricates wooden crates using saws and pneumatic tools to crate screen printing equipment
  • Reads shipping and order specifications and records necessary information
  • Follows layout instructions to prepare wood necessary to complete each job
  • Saws material using automatic cutoff saws
  • Assembles base of crate using pneumatic tools and cordless power tools
  • Places product on bases using forklifts
  • Bolts heavy pieces to bottom of container or skid
  • Wraps equipment in plastic as needed
  • Builds crate around large or odd-shaped articles
  • Attaches identification labels or stencils containing such information as order number and country of destination
  • Counts items to be packed to make sure they are in compliance with shipping orders

The Digital Print Research Specialist will assist the R&D team with the development of inkjet for digital screen printing technologies. This role will primarily be focused on textile applications and will involve working in all facets of the printing process. Typical duties include operating direct-to-garment (DTG) equipment, calibrating printheads, ink durability and new component testing, installing software updates, and working alongside engineers to build the next generation of equipment.

  • General screenprinting knowledge, pre-press screen preparations, coating screens and working with emulsions are all a plus

  • Responsible for setup, setting offsets and simple program edits.
  • Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine appropriately.
  • Ensures that every finished piece meets specifications.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of previous CNC operation experience
  • CNC Fanuc control set-up capability a plus.

  • Ability to hold fabrication tolerances at +/- .001 (or better) is a must.
