Production Control Clerk

Production Control Clerk - Manufacturing - 1st Shift

Position Summary:
The Production Control Clerk will open and close production work orders in the company’s MRP System.

Responsibilities:
  • Directs material handlers on movement of WIP
  • Reviews expedites for fabricated parts
  • Ensures parts are being made in a timely manner

  • Makes necessary adjustments in the MRP system
Qualifications:

Position Summary:
Fabricates wooden crates and ships screen printing equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Fabricates wooden crates using saws and pneumatic tools to crate screen printing equipment
  • Reads shipping and order specifications and records necessary information
  • Follows layout instructions to prepare necessary wood to complete each job
  • Saws material using automatic cutoff saws
  • Assembles base of crate using pneumatic tools and cordless power tools
  • Places product on base using forklift
  • Bolts heavy pieces to bottom of container or skid
  • Wraps equipment in plastic as needed
  • Builds crate around large or odd-shaped articles
  • Attaches identification labels or stencils containing such information as order number and country of destination
  • Counts items to be packed to ensure compliance with shipping orders
  • Uses forklift to move completed equipment from assembly departments to crating department
  • Assists shipping department with loading trucks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Stand for 10 hours per day
  • Climb rolling ladders to complete construction of crates
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Obtain company certification for forklift operation
Shift:
  • 2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am

CNC Press Brake Operator

Position Summary:

CNC Press Brake operators produce parts from metals and plastics using computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment that will make precision bends according to blueprints. Operators will make set-ups, adjustments to speeds, material thickness, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed. They will make sure that machine is working well on full capacity, is well-maintained and producing quality products making periodic checks on formed parts; to ensure product is ready for next operation.

Job Skills and Requirements:
  • Experience operating CNC machines
  • Experience operating press brakes a plus
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading highly desired
  • Perform inspections using calipers, protractors and measuring angles
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Mechanical and technical skills
  • Inspect and maintain equipment with safety requirements

Position Summary:
The Director of Technology reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company. The Director of Technology works with executive management to grow the company using technological resources. Using an active and practical approach, the Director of Technology will direct all employees in IT to attain the company’s goals established in the company’s strategic plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Supports the development of the company’s strategic plan and future growth
  • Directs the company’s technical vision and development
  • Collaborates with M&R department leaders to gather and understand their IT needs
  • Communicates with the senior leadership team on all things IT—including progress, roadblocks, status of initiatives, etc.

  • Ensures that every finished piece meets specifications.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of previous CNC operation experience

Digital Field Service Technician

Position Summary:

The position requires a seasoned Field Service Professional who can work with minimal supervision and who has extensive experience with electro/mechanical machinery. Must have the ability to maintain and enhance our field service department both domestically and abroad.

Service Techs are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment at our customer locations. They also provide training and telephone support for customers and participate in trade shows. Successful candidates will receive field and factory training.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:
  • EET Degree in the field of electronics, licensed electricians, ASE Mechanics, or similar all are potential good candidates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Performs installations and repairs of company products as assigned by management staff.
  • Prepare service reports for every service call and submits them in a timely fashion for processing.
  • Assist in 24-hour service phone support on a rotating schedule.
  • Travels domestically and internationally to repair, install, train and move equipment as assigned.
  • Provide phone support when not traveling to our customers.
  • Assist in the setup and tear down of equipment at trade shows, and also assist the sales staff during said shows.
  • Above-average abilities in verbal and writing skills. Able to to communicate with our customers and put them at ease with the repair process.

Digital-Specific Requirements:
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Corel a plus
  • Screen printing artwork preparation experience.
  • Direct-to-screen or direct-to-garment experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of RIP Software and file conversions. Caldera experience a plus.
  • General screenprinting knowledge, pre-press screen preparation, coating screens and working with emulsions are all a plus.
  • Strong computer skills with basic networking skills preferred.
  • Organized and detailed in their approach to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work directly with customer and be a liaison to management and technical staff.
