CNC Press Brake Operators

CNC Press Brake Operators – Manufacturing ‐ 2nd Shift

** We are currently hiring Certified CNC Operators/Press Brake Operators with no experience **

Position Summary:

Press Brake Operators produce parts from metals and plastics using Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) equipment that will make precision bends according to blueprints. Operators will make set-ups, adjustments to speeds, material thickness, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed. They will make sure that the CNC machine is operating well at full capacity, is well-maintained and producing quality products, making periodic checks on formed parts, and ensures the product is ready for the next operation.

Skilled Press Brake Operator Requirements:
  • Experience operating CNC machines
  • Experience operating Press Brakes a plus
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading highly desired
  • Performs inspections using calipers, protractors and measuring angles
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Mechanical and technical skills
  • Inspects and maintains equipment with safety requirements
  • Capable of doing repetitive movements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Fabrication
  • Daily standing position and lifting a variety of parts, sizes and weights (up to 40 pounds)
Shift:
  • 2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm – 12:30 am
  • Ability to work through 3:30 am to equal a 55-hour work week

Welders

Position:
Welders - Manufacturing - 1st and 2nd Shifts

Position Summary:

Welders are responsible for ensuring that all job orders are welded to specification, and that all parts are inspected upon completion before the next step in the process can take place.

Requirements:
  • Highly proficient in MIG and/or TIG welding
  • Ability to set-up own jobs and weld according to blueprint, maintaining required tolerances and angles as specified
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints without assistance
  • Ability to use necessary measuring tools
  • Ability to grind own welded work to achieve acceptable cosmetic appearance
  • Ability to push/pull/carry up to 70 pounds without assistance
  • Creativity and excellent problem-solving skills a plus
  • 3 years minimum experience required, 5 years or more preferred
Shifts:
  • 1st Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • 2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am
  • Currently working Friday as overtime

Digital Field Service Technician

Digital Field Service Technician – Service Department

Position Overview:
The position requires a seasoned Field Service Professional who can work with minimal supervision and who has extensive experience with electro / mechanical machinery. Must have the ability to maintain and enhance our field service department both domestically and abroad.

Service Techs are responsible for installing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment at our customer locations. They also provide training and telephone support for customers and participate in trade shows. Successful candidates will receive field and factory training.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:
  • Students with a career path or individuals with general experience in industrial electronics, automation, or similar background are welcome
  • EET degree in the field of electronics, licensed electricians, ASE mechanics, or similar are all potential good candidates
  • An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
  • Previous relevant experience working with engineering, operations, sales, field service, remote office and general laborers within an equipment manufacturing company desired
  • Proactive individual who takes initiative and follows through regardless of size or scope of the project

  • Strong prior mechanical / electronics experience, preferably in an industrial setting

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Performs installations and repairs of company products as assigned by management staff
  • Prepares service reports for every service call and submits them in a timely fashion for processing
  • Assists in 24-hour service phone support on a rotating schedule
  • Travels domestically and internationally to repair, install, train and move equipment as assigned
  • Provides phone support when not traveling to our customers
  • Assists in the setup and tear down of equipment at trade shows and also assists the sales staff during said shows
  • Above average abilities in verbal and writing skills with the ability to communicate with our customers and put them at ease with the repair process
Digital-Specific Requirements (a plus, but not required):
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Corel
  • Screen printing artwork preparation experience
  • Direct-to-screen or direct-to-garment experience
  • Working knowledge of RIP software and file conversion. Caldera experience is a plus
  • General screenprinting knowledge, pre-press screen preparations, coating screens and working with emulsions are all a plus
  • Strong computer skills with basic networking skills preferred
  • Organized and detailed with their approach to troubleshooting
  • Ability to work directly with customer and be a liaison to management and technical staff

CNC Operator

Position:
CNC Operators - Manufacturing - 2nd Shift Position

Position Summary:
The CNC Operator will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for setup, setting offsets and simple program edits.
  • Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine appropriately.
  • Ensures that every finished piece meets specifications.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of previous CNC operation experience
  • CNC Fanuc control set-up capability a plus.
  • Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines.
  • Ability to hold fabrication tolerances at +/- .001 (or better) is a must.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints with understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments a must.
  • Ability to push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic computer skills a plus.
  • Creativity and excellent problem-solving skills a must.

Shift:
  • 2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4:00pm – 2:30am
  • Currently working Fridays as overtime
