Position:
Quality Control Inspector – Manufacturing

**Retention Bonus of $1,000 following 6 months of employment**

Position Summary:

Quality Control Inspectors are responsible for inspecting, testing and documenting parameters of finished equipment by adhering to M&R’s procedures and standards to ensure all equipment meets reliability, usability and performance quality standards to eliminate/reduce the defect return rate.

Responsibilities:
  • Tests and inspects equipment for customer orders
  • Makes sure units are perfect
  • Ensures that equipment is functioning to M&R standards
  • Confirms systems have all necessary parts and components
  • Provides feedback to supervisor of all discovered issues or defects
  • Maintains records of all testing reports via entry into computer systems
  • Requests all necessary components of the unit for the order
  • Performs all testing tasks
  • Completes all paperwork requested and provides results to the supervisor
  • Follows the all-final checking procedures of the Q.C. department's standards/processes
  • Maintains a clean work area
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of manufacturing production and/or quality control experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Some electrical and mechanical skills
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Daily standing position and lifting a variety of parts, sizes and weights (up to 40 lbs.)
  • Familiarity with schematics and blueprints
