Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer will develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes, work with design engineers to improve manufacturability of newly design parts, provide production support, resolving potential efficiency and safety issues.

Job Description:
  • Analyzes newly-designed parts and assemblies for cost effective manufacturing
  • Calculates and maintains manufacturing cost and assembly routing information
  • Creates and maintains assembly instructions
  • Proposes new manufacturing processes including new machinery as needed
  • Evaluates parts for outsourcing
  • Works with engineering group to design production fixtures and machine components

Grinders - Manufacturing - 2nd Shift

  • Ability to stand for 10 hours per day

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints without assistance

Position Summary:

CNC Press Brake operators produce parts from metals and plastics using computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment that will make precision bends according to blueprints. Operators will make set-ups, adjustments to speeds, material thickness, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed. They will make sure that machine is working well on full capacity, is well-maintained and producing quality products making periodic checks on formed parts; to ensure product is ready for next operation.

Job Skills and Requirements:
  • Experience operating CNC machines
  • Experience operating press brakes a plus
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading highly desired
  • Perform inspections using calipers, protractors and measuring angles
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Mechanical and technical skills
  • Inspect and maintain equipment with safety requirements

Digital-Specific Requirements (a plus, but not required):
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Corel
  • Screen printing artwork preparation experience
  • Direct-to-screen or direct-to-garment experience
  • Working knowledge of RIP software and file conversion. Caldera experience is a plus
  • General screenprinting knowledge, pre-press screen preparations, coating screens and working with emulsions are all a plus
  • Strong computer skills with basic networking skills preferred
  • Organized and detailed with their approach to troubleshooting
  • Ability to work directly with customer and be a liaison to management and technical staff

  • Responsible for setup, setting offsets and simple program edits.

  • Ensures that every finished piece meets specifications.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of previous CNC operation experience
  • CNC Fanuc control set-up capability a plus.

Robotic Welder
