Picker/Packer

Picker/Packers - Manufacturing - 1st Shift

Position Summary:

This job requires picking and packing parts from the correct location within the Parts Department. The parts are made in our facility and must be picked to the specifics of customer orders in a timely manner. This position consists of standing/walking 8 hours a day.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Basic computer and math skills

  • Must be able to work in a team and alone
  • Must be able to adapt to occasional quick changes in decisions ex: pick this order, ok stop, now pick this
  • Must be on time

CNC Operator

The CNC Operator will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for setup, setting offsets and simple program edits.
  • Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine appropriately.
  • Ensures that every finished piece meets specifications.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of previous CNC operation experience
  • CNC Fanuc control set-up capability a plus.
  • Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines.
  • Ability to hold fabrication tolerances at +/- .001 (or better) is a must.

Welder

Position Summary:

Welders are responsible for ensuring that all job orders are welded to specification, and that all parts are inspected upon completion before the next step in the process can take place.


Requirements:
  • Highly proficient in MIG and/or TIG welding
  • Ability to set-up own jobs and weld according to blueprint, maintaining required tolerances and angles as specified
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints without assistance

Press Brake Operator

Position Summary:

Press Brake operators produce parts from metals and plastics using computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment that will make precision bends according to blueprints. Operators will make set-ups, adjustments to speeds, material thickness, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed. They will make sure that machine is working well on full capacity, is well-maintained and producing quality products making periodic checks on formed parts; to ensure product is ready for next operation.

Job Skills and Requirements:
  • Experience operating CNC machines
  • Experience operating press brakes a plus
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading highly desired
  • Perform inspections using calipers, protractors and measuring angles
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Mechanical and technical skills
  • Inspect and maintain equipment with safety requirements

  • Daily standing position and lifting variety of parts, sizes and weights (up to 60 lbs.)

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for quality parts produced on manual mill/lathe
  • Responsible for set up, operating controls, setting work holding fixtures, debarring and inspection of quality parts.
  • Ensure that every finished piece meets exacting specifications. This means that operator must consistently check the finished product, which involves taking measurements.
  • Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers.
  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
  • Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities and reports all machine malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Communicates with supervisor for assignments to resolve machining or quality issues.
  • Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth gage, indicators and scales.
  • Knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Must possess basic math skills for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.
  • Operator machinists must be able to stand for long periods.

Position Summary:
The Director of Technology reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company. Position Summary:

The position requires a seasoned Field Service Professional who can work with minimal supervision and who has extensive experience with electro/mechanical machinery. Must have the ability to maintain and enhance our field service department both domestically and abroad.

Service Techs are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment at our customer locations. They also provide training and telephone support for customers and participate in trade shows. Successful candidates will receive field and factory training.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:
  • EET Degree in the field of electronics, licensed electricians, ASE Mechanics, or similar all are potential good candidates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Performs installations and repairs of company products as assigned by management staff.
  • Prepare service reports for every service call and submits them in a timely fashion for processing.
  • Assist in 24-hour service phone support on a rotating schedule.
  • Travels domestically and internationally to repair, install, train and move equipment as assigned.
  • Provide phone support when not traveling to our customers.
  • Assist in the setup and tear down of equipment at trade shows, and also assist the sales staff during said shows.
  • Above-average abilities in verbal and writing skills. Able to to communicate with our customers and put them at ease with the repair process.

Digital-Specific Requirements:
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Corel a plus
  • Screen printing artwork preparation experience.
  • Direct-to-screen or direct-to-garment experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of RIP Software and file conversions. Caldera experience a plus.
  • General screenprinting knowledge, pre-press screen preparation, coating screens and working with emulsions are all a plus.
  • Strong computer skills with basic networking skills preferred.
  • Organized and detailed in their approach to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work directly with customer and be a liaison to management and technical staff.
