Industrial Spray Painter

Pay Range:$18.75 – $23.50 per hour
Position Summary:The Industrial Spray Painter is responsible for applying primer and finish coats to manufactured products using spray equipment. This role involves preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and ensuring high-quality finishes in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Mix coating paints to specific ratios and prepare spray equipment, including cleaning and adjusting spray guns
- Read and interpret technical documents such as paint mixing procedures and equipment maintenance guidelines
- Follow assignment directions independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Clean spray equipment daily using appropriate solvents or other cleaning solutions
- Maintain a clean and organized paint mixing room while adhering to company safety policies
- Use breathing air supply system when applying epoxy paints
- Ensure proper respirator care, maintenance and operation of respirators
- Assist in preparing parts for painting when not actively engaged in spray painting
- Minimum of 1 year of continuous experience in spray painting
- Ability to perform tasks while standing, bending and kneeling
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. on regular basis
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment with seasonal temperature fluctuation
Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm with overtime as needed
