M&R Printing Equipment is excited to invite you to our second annual, and first-ever VIRTUAL Digital Squeegee® Hybrid User Group (HUG) Conference on October 27-28th. This year’s virtual HUG Conference will consist of two sessions per day—one in the morning from 10:00am – 12:30pm, and one in the afternoon from 1:30pm – 3:00pm. Check out the schedule of events below.

In addition to the provided content, this conference will be all about making sure that you have a chance to interact with the M&R team, ask questions, and hear from other hybrid group members that are becoming a part of this rapidly-growing community. We are excited to have a panel of experienced hybrid printers who will address your questions as well as provide their own perspective on how to keep moving forward with hybrid printing on the Digital Squeegee.

Digital Industry Developments for 2020 and Beyond

With Danny Sweem and David Blake
and introducing Danielle Hazen

M&R's CEO Danny Sweem and additional M&R team members will review recent and upcoming changes in the retail environment that are impacting customer expectations and the way that garments are being sold. The new retail environment provides both risk and opportunity for garment decorators. Danny and the team will address actions that M&R is taking to get ready for 2021 and beyond, and provide recommendations to position your company for continued success.

Digital Squeegee: Being Unique in an Evolving Market

With Michelle Moxley

During this session, Michelle will review all the resources for the HUG and introduce the newest tools and resources. Next, Michelle will review unique applications that differentiate the Digital Squeegee hybrid printing process and how to use them to stand out from the crowd—with examples to include variable data and special effects applications. Then, we will take a look at future technology adaptations and interactive garment ideas, and how to use time saving/cost saving measures to your advantage with your hybrid process. We will discuss printing specialty products like face masks, transfers, safety vests, etc. Finally, we will spend some time on press, demonstrating some of the newest chemistries and methods.

Caldera RIP Updates

With Stephen Chuddy and Piotr Latka

In this session, the Dynamic Duo will review recent and upcoming Caldera RIP upgrades to include an exciting opportunity to upgrade from Caldera Copy RIP to Caldera Textile Pro, or Caldera Textile Pro Lite.

Join Danielle in a discussion of color theory for digital textile print production. We will start with foundational color concepts, progressing to a review of tools and terms, and finally best practices that both beginners and advanced color-nerds alike can implement today.
