R&R Enterprises

Phil Rideout, PresidentR&R EnterprisesFenton MO, USA
R&R Enterprises is a mid-sized print & embroidery shop specializing in the motorsports apparel industry.

We purchased our first M&R automatic printing press and took delivery on June 24th 2010. In addition to the Sportsman E 12-color, we got a Sprint 2000 dryer and three Red Chili flashers. The M&R tech arrived July 1st and by the afternoon of the following day we were up and running.

We had previously been printing on two automatic presses of a different brand, and we had been working past midnight regularly to meet demand. We originally planned to continue printing on one of our older presses alongside our new Sportsman E. However, once we began printing on the Sportsman E we could not believe the difference, from ease of operation to the remarkable quality in which we were now printing. Sportsman E printed perfectly, and the setups were faster than ever thanks to the M&R Tri-Loc Registration System. We were able to turn out twice as many prints on our Sportsman E as we could using both of our older presses. After a couple of days we found ourselves printing exclusively on our new Sportsman E, and we retired our older press. Printing past midnight was finally over.

With the increase in production and a much improved quality of print, we were able to take on twice the workload. Business increased so much that we purchased a second new M&R press, a Sportsman EX 12-color, just 6 months later.

Everything from our presses, dryer, flash units and Tri-Loc system has worked perfectly every day. We have experienced no downtime whatsoever, a true testament to the quality of all the M&R products.

The success and continued growth in our business is strongly related to the performance of all our M&R equipment. We would like to thank Rich Hoffman and all the people of M&R for a job well done.

If you are a first time buyer and have any questions regarding any of my M&R equipment please feel free to call me at any time. I will be happy to tell you about our newest addition, the M&R Sportsman EXG 14-color.
Graphic Disorder

Graphic Disorder is an ultra-small shop that does screen printing and embroidery. Just over a year ago, the two of us were screen printing manually all day every day just to keep up with demand—and we struggled to fill our embroidery orders—but we were being told by some that we couldn't afford the obvious solution: an automatic textile press.

However, M&R had a different view.
And once we received our new press, we found that what took us five days on a manual press could be done on our Sportsman EX in one or two days. That let us spend more time on embroidery, and it increased our overall productivity. In fact, it increased our business dramatically.

The first full month with our Sportsman EX was our best month ever, and less than a year after acquiring the press we were able to add an additional employee and eight more embroidery heads.

Our increase in productivity can also be attributed to M&R's Tri-Loc registration system. The decrease in setup times has been amazing. I can't stress enough what a difference the Tri-Loc has made. We often register multi-color jobs in a few seconds with two people, one spinning the table and one locking the screens. Our first test prints are almost always dead-on or VERY close. It’s an awesome tool.

M&R has been the key to my recent businesses growth. And for small shops that think they can't afford an automatic press, I suggest they are wrong. Take the plunge. M&R will make it easier than you can imagine.
